Environmental impacts

Environmental impacts are a central theme at Mosbaek, so, just as our products are used for storm water management and thus limit overloads, overflow incidents and floods, which are environmental impacts, Mosbaek focuses on the environmental impacts that we generate as a manufacturing company and supplier.

Environmental product declaration

In order to document the environmental properties of our products, we have, in collaboration with Provice ApS, prepared a product-specific EPD (Environmental Product Declaration), which is an internationally recognized, third-party verified environmental declaration that documents the environmental properties of construction products in a standardized and objective way.

Our EPD is developed in accordance with the European standard EN 15804 and is verified according to ISO 14025. The independent verification is carried out by a third party and registered with EPD Denmark.

Product-specific data and transparency

With an EPD on Mosbaek's products, product-specific data can be used in the future, in the project planning phase, when calculating the environmental impact instead of using generic data. In addition, the EPD can be used as a tool to compare and select products with a lower environmental impact. The EPD provides transparency, using objective and verified data that helps consultants and builders make more informed decisions.
