Cyklone Flow Regulator, CYD
Cyclone Flow Regulator, type CYD ("D" = dry) is manufactured with capacities from 20 l/s up to 600 l/s (see diagram). It is used wherever a flow regulator has to be installed on the inspection chamber's inlet. The flow regulator is designed for semi-dry/dry installation. If a mounted submerged cyclone flow regulator is needed, please refer to the CYE product description.
The CYD flow regulator can be used for all types of drainage water, i.e. rainwater, waste water or a mixture of rainwater and waste water. Two types are available: CYDV and CYDX; they are designed differently and have different capacity ranges as follows:
- CYDV: 20-500 l/s
- CYDX: 25-600 l/s
All CYD flow regulators have a replaceable outlet cone, which makes it possible to adjust the mean capacity by at least ±20%. If you wish to change the capacity, you can contact Mosbaek A/S. We identify the flow regulator from its reference number and then calculate the dimension of an outlet cone to correspond to the new capacity.
