A short film "Future impact of climate change" describes the future for the Danish climate, the extent of the flooding and what we can do to mitigate the impact of climate change.

The climate is changing - are you?

The climate will be markedly changed  in the future, but what will this mean to us and what should we do in Denmark to adapt? Leading experts show the way forward in a film focusing on the impact of climate change in Denmark and around the world. It presents the consequences for urban, rural and coastal areas, but describes what we can do to adapt at the same time.

DHI wanted to make the consequences and possible lines of action clear to the population. In Denmark, the consequences will primarily impact us through water, and we will contribute to the debate with a wide-ranging communication of our knowledge about climate and water. A particular purpose of the films is to assist in mitigating school children's fears of climate change, but understand that even if the problem is serious, there is something we can do about it.

This is why DHI joined forces with leading experts to make a film that uses simple, clear language to explain what climate change means and what we can do in Denmark and abroad. The film was made by experts in water and climate change, but the consequences are obvious to everyone.

Contributors to the film include Jens Hesselbjerg , Research Manager, DMI, former minister for the environment and current member of the Danish Parliament Ida Auken and Ole Mark , former Research and Development Manager, DHI.
