About Mosbaek

Mosbaek A/S was founded in 1969, when inventor and civil engineer Jørgen Mosbæk Johannessen was the first person in the world to invent a flow regulator. This device for sewer systems released only a limited water volume even though it had a large orifice opening. Jørgen decided to call his invention a flow regulator.

Targeted optimisation and development have now given Mosbaek A/S a vast product range with a wide spectrum of application options. During the development phase, the goal has always been to find the simplest possible solution to specific flow-control problems to maximise the terms and conditions of investment, operation and maintenance. As a result, flow regulators from Mosbaek A/S have no moving parts, do not require a power supply, are hydraulically ideal and have a large orifice opening.

It goes without saying that Mosbaek provides individualised advice on flow control and regulators, based on more than fifty years of sector experience. See more about this under The Mosbaek Story. Each flow regulator is individually dimensioned as required with custom-developed software, and the customer is always certain to find the best solution with us.

The latest CAD systems are used as the basis for the production process, which besides is subject to systematic control of Quality and Environment .

Mosbaek A/S has sold more than 33,000 flow regulators around the world and a selection of these are presented under Cases .
